ROCKWELL is likely the most functional, attractive and highest value Mac65 you will find. She is the last one built and offers important modifications that none of the others have. Most significant are the simple sail handling setup, the dodger protected companionway and a 3 cabin layout.
The companion way allows for much easier flow-through access between the cockpit and accommodations below, much improved sheeting for the main, the convenience and protection of a conventional dodger, and the option of a fully covered cockpit. Rockwell also has two private double aft cabins along with the forward suite, making guests much more comfortable and a much larger and more usable galley than other Macs.
Focus has been to make all sail handling a breeze and operated from the safety and comfort of the cockpit. She is very fast and extremely easy to sail short handed. 9-12 knots is normal and much higher speeds are not uncommon. Even when sailing casually, we leave most boats in our wake no matter how many hulls they have. Well thought out functionality and aesthetically tasteful appointments, she is pure pleasure to sail.
